Tissues!

I have an assignment in my surgical illustration class to draw a variety of tissues. This is my first page I have completed. I have part of the femur, and some cut skin, either retracted or stapled. The girl is from my program. I drew her today in class because I was a little bored.

Markers!

Just a quick sketch I did of my watch. Probably didn't take me more than 5 minutes. I didn't like it that much, but my boyfriend did, so I posted it!!!

Surgical Illustration Sketches

Here are some of the sketches I did to practice for surgical illustration. They are either 20 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, or unidentified. I think I am slowly improving on my speed as I go! I experimented with pencil, marker and pen for these drawings.

Enjoy!

Immunology Illustration

Yet again, another textbook illustration. I completed this in Adobe Illustrator and placed it into a pseudo textbook page for effect! Hopefully it is clear and easy to understand. That is what I am going for!!!!

Textbook Illustration

This is my final assignment for my textbook illustration course last fall. I had some help with the human figures (thanks Dan!) but other than that, it was all me!
Please ignore my sorry excuse for a summary of lumbar disc herniation. Just look at the beautiful carbon dusk and pen and ink illustrations!
