I've noticed I've been focusing a lot on character sketches much more than backgrounds/layout... I really enjoy drawing people and animals.

Awesome pose, you should throw some shine coming off that hoodie! Haha, how about one at night and the hoodie is glowing? I love how you paid special attention to the foot positions.
